Framingham is the perfect location to enjoy the best New England weather outdoors. Located at the Village Green at Framingham Center, the Framingham Farmers Market offers fresh produce, cheese, meats, and crafts from June through October.
Garden In the Woods is a beautiful botanical garden with two miles of walking trails. Located on 45 acres of land, the park features stunning gardens in valleys shaped by ancient glaciers, carving out areas of wetlands, fields, and ponds. The garden also offers tours, special events, and a garden shop.
As a working farm, Eastleigh Farm provides the best local dairy products, including ice cream, in the summer. With special events, a farm store, and a farmers market, there’s plenty to do to spend the entire day here. If you’re still searching for more adventure, Callahan State Park offers 820 acres of nature with seven miles of trails suitable for walking, hiking, and mountain biking. In the winter, Callahan State Park also provides cross-country skiing to enjoy the beautiful snow in New England.
At the Framingham Country Club, guests can enjoy a challenging course designed to meld with the natural surroundings by Renaissance Golf Design and architect Bruce Hepner, who helped restore the course to its original 1989 vision.
